Jimmy's Outrageous Front Porch Revue

Join us for the fourth installment of Jimmy's Outrageous Front Porch Revue...a musical celebration starring Borrego's own talented performers! A guaranteed good time, all in the name of raising funds for the Anza-Borrego Foundation to continue fulfilling its mission. Tickets are $20. Performances will be held on Friday evening and Saturday evening at 7:00 pm, and at 3:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend buying tickets in advance; these performances are likely to sell out!

Spring Plant Walks Start on Friday
February 14, 2020, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Come see what's blooming in the Park! Meet knowledgeable Botany Society Volunteers for a guided morning stroll to the best wildflower areas. Walks will take place every Friday through March. Participants will carpool to the Park’s flower locations and driving distances will vary. Bring water, snacks and sun protection to fully enjoy the morning. Meet at Anza-Borrego Foundation’s State Park Store in The Mall next to Calico’s. Each walk is limited to 30 people. Free of charge; donations encouraged.

Leap Day Canyon Concert - Magic in the Park!
February 29, 2020, 3:00-5:30 pm
Join us for a violin concert by violinist and composer Beth Chafey-Hon on LEAP day in the Park, weather permitting! Each original composed musical piece on her new CD release “Desert Song Cycle”, inspired by our own Anza Borrego desert, will be accompanied by natural percussion and reading of a short poem. Enjoy time under awe-inspiring canyon walls with the setting sun and revel in the natural concert acoustics; dress warmly and bring a blanket! This catered fundraiser, including wine and appetizers, will support ABF’s mission to help the Park.
Seating will be limited; get your tickets early! $50 for members, $65 for non-members (ticket includes appetizers, wine and the newly released CD). Volunteer opportunities available! Camp Borrego Starts Today For Our Local Fifth Graders!
Camp Borrego for our local Borrego Springs Elementary School will start today! Now entering its 16th year, Camp Borrego is an environmental education camp for fifth grade students offering a three-day, two-night exploration of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The students camp at Borrego Palm Canyon campground for two nights, hike in our most famous canyon, and learn about the Park’s flora and fauna, geology, archaeology and paleontology. They'll even meet the only Ranger Pilot in the whole State Park system and get to view his patrol plane!

Hikes & Hops: Alcoholic Pass on Valentine's Day Weekend- only two spots left!
February 15, 2020, 10 am- 3 pm
Join trip leaders Diana and Lowell Lindsay for a beautiful guided hike to the top of Alcoholic Pass, followed by sharing a cold brew with your fellow desert hikers in Coyote Canyon (beer generously provided by Pure Project Brewing and Burning Beard Brewing Companies).
